2stix started  as an inside joke between my wife and I. I constantly pleaded that my creativity to elevate my music was being hindered by the lack of not having better equipment. AND, my persistence was finally starting to pay off (or so it seemed).

One day after more pestering, she blurted "real talent shouldn't have to rely on fancy studio equipment. You know, you could bang out 'serious' beats with two sticks if you really had to. I think Bob Marley clanked two sticks together and managed to create some of the 'wickedest' tunes."  Since then, all  attempts to convince her to buy anything for the purpose of making music was quickly addressed with the same response: "two sticks - two [damn] sticks."
